The other day a young person asked me how I felt about being old. I was taken aback, for I do not think of myself as old. Upon seeing my reaction, she was immediately embarrassed, but I explained that it was an interesting question, and I would ponder it, and let her know.
Lucky bastards who can afford to retire at 50. I'll be 59 before I stop paying child support , so until then it the daily grind whether I like it or not. A few minutes of pleasure = a lifetime of slavery.

I'm curious about the grouping on this poll. It is every five years until 60 there you find 60+. That makes that group out of balance with the rest of the poll? That group could be 5 or 6 times the average 5 years of the other groups. How about a age group between 71 and 75 so I can see how many mature middle age people there are. It would not hurt to have a 76-80 and 81-85 group also. Don't want to leave anyone out do we?
