Some interesting views/posts on bars guys ! People's opinion and feelings about bars differ greatly. I couldn't decide on my favourite 3 as it depends on my mood, the time of day, what i'm looking for and who i'm looking for !!! A major factor for me is "what other punters are there" !! The atmosphere is usually dictated by the the punters - and the Thai "hosts" usually react to the mood of the punters ! I've had great fun in some of the lesser known bars as well as the highly rated ones in previous posts. Life's too short to be worried about where i'm going to have my next night out !!
If you think this is a load of bullshit, you're probably right !! And to make it worse i don't even drink - had to stop 14 years ago due to the love of it !!!!!! However, i consider myself qualified to judge as I'm always in a sober state to know what's going on !
As far as I'm concerned all the bars in HH are worth a visit, no matter what your taste ! The more the merrier !
And Johnny - don't worry about the cold beer comments - you don't have to drink it to see that it's straight from the fridge !!!!!

the u turn on soi bintabaht was my favourite, craig the owner was a nice guy, the place was large plenty of room around the pool tables to play, cold drinks and nice girls, not pushy at all, always started the evening off there.
The girls looked great when they were dressed in traditional thai costume for the recent festival, where they offer flower garlands to the sea . sorry cant remember its name.

Got to depend on your mood
Easy though, you can cruise round day or night and take your pick. If it's not right. pay up and move on

It’s none of my business what people say and think of me. I am what I am and do what I do. I expect nothing and accept everything. It makes life so much easier.

Hi
My favorite bar during the last holidays was Montri bar ( near Hilton ). The Mai-Thai drinks are the best in town and the band with the 2 girls was allways nice to see ....
Also the Earth-bar near TopMarks was a great place to listening music. And Lady Lulu from Top-Marks was everywhere in town
regards

Just a small point of clarification: the so-called "GoGo boy bar" (I believe the poster is refering to the Red Indian Bar) is not a 'gogo' bar, but a 'host' bar. Big difference.exman wrote:" ... the bar after passed Sofitel and beside the go-go boy bar, the last one on that street. Nice girls and comfortable ... "
As far as I'm aware there are no "GoGo" bars (a la Pattaya or Bangkok) in Hua Hin, straight or gay. I think all the lady bars, and the few gay bars, are all 'host' style.
Cheers ...
Just one more reason why I love living in Thailand ...

Hi Tony babes - tolerating you was never a problem, especially at Songkran!
Sadly will miss it this month but should be in HH a bit later this year. Its been a long 3 years.
Can't get too 'off topic' I guess so I better chuck in one of my fave bars, which ain't in HH at all. Its Rogeirs place on Chaams beach road.
Take care, Mags

A sprout is for life - not just for Christmas.

This is not in Hua Hin, but for a bit of variety, it’s one of my favourite spots for an afternoon drink.
It’s Mr. Singh’s Beach-bar on Paknam-Pran beach, just to the north of the Evason resort and about thirty minutes drive from Hua Hin.
A very pleasant setting and friendly staff; they also do a good range of cocktails and fresh juice drinks with a row of tables overlooking the sea.
