Thailand's Election Commission is still well short of endorsing the 95% of parliamentary election winners constitutionally required to convene its January 23 session. The monitoring body is awash in allegations and analysts are openly wondering if it has been drawn into a military junta plot to block the formation of a new government.

Thought: Interesting roundup by ATol, doesn't really tell us anything new, rampant vote buying in the northeast produced the last "democratic" government so it goes without saying the next will be similar. I say we split the country in two where the north and northeast get their own government and Bangkok, eastern seaboard and the south get a different one!
