Lomuamart: Have you read what the Arch Bishop of Canterbury (Rowan Williams - totally smackable [sp?]) said today? He seems to think that what people do in private is of public interest. What! I couldn't give two hoots what they do, as long as they're not hurting anybody (maybe Max, but he loved it :) ). I think it'd be a different story if one of his sub-ordinates was caught doing the same thing. He should get back into his cloisters (or wherever he resides) and stop poking his bible-bashing nose into other affairs.

I have the angel and the devil sitting on my shoulders concerning Max Mosley. I had the same problem with Bill Clinton. At the end of the day - does it affect the way they do their job? NO. Does what they did affect the way some people respect them. YES.

I'm with the angel. I hope Max screws as much money as he can from the gutter press - and then gives it to charity... And as for these tarts who are happy to take the money, then spill all to the press. Grrrr... I guess they'll be the next celebs on Big Brother or host a TV show. I give up!

For those of you who didn't watch the Hungarian GP - you didn't miss much. Apart from the fact that Timo Glock came second.

What is it with these drivers? I was expecting Timo (flanked by two mono-toned Finns) to be a smidgeon more animated, and even excited, in the post race interview. Not a bit of it.

The race was pretty boring - although I feel compelled to watch. The only exciting bits were a few flames in the pits and Hamilton's duff tyre. It's getting a tad boring when the pits become the highlight of the race.

Poor Philippe Massa :cry: - he deserved a win after his superb overtaking manoeuvre at the start (the most exciting bit).

Oh well, a three week break for them to hone their driving and personality skills...

Yep, the fires in the pit lane were about the most exciting moments in yesterdays race.

Why someone has designed a track that is virtually impossible to overtake on is beyond me!

Fasten your seatbelts guys & gals. The Valencia (European) Grand Prix is starting in about 20 minutes. It's a new, and very pretty, street/road circuit, so it could either be intensely boring or hugely exciting.

This may be chance for some new faces on the podium. :)

Must go and get settled in front of the box with a cool Chang...

Well, I watched more of this race than I have of any F1 for over 5 years. It reminded me why I normally don't bother. Sorry, F1 fans, but it was dire.

Have to agree, another track where it was virtually impossible to overtake so it all came down to pit strategies again, Massa got a deserved win though - almost like watching Schumacher driving again.

I did say it might be boring....

The most exciting bits (in my mind) were:
1) The mechanic getting run over by Raikkonen in the pits.
2) Mr. & Mrs. Massa looking ever so happy when Philippe won.
3) The female commentator wearing an extremely sexy outfit.

It was interesting when Raikkonen walked back into the pits after blowing the engine. Nobody looked at him, nobody cared. I think Ferrari have given up on him, and the feeling is mutual. If they can concentrate on Massa (with Schumaker's help) then he can possibly win the championship.

Now we can all look forward to Spa. My favourite circuit in the world. This'll sort out the men from the boys. You've just gotta watch it for Eau Rouge. It's OK DM - I'll let you off, you don't have to put yourself through any more pain. :wink:

The one good thing is that the championship is becoming far more open. Which can't be a bad thing.

Hey, it was a real race today! The weather was obviously a factor, and you have to feel a tad sorry for Raikkonen (just a tad, mind), but the boy Hamilton done good!

yep, the first 41 laps was the normal predictable mclaren v ferrari bore :(

the last 3 laps were highly entertaining :D
