You can relieve the gout with the proper diet and Sour Cherry Extract. If you're interested I can tell you where to order it.thecolonel wrote: ↑Sun Dec 30, 2018 2:05 pm So I went walking and looking for All in Hua Hin for brunch, eventually found it and when I sat down I opened Google maps and blow me its already marked on! Durrgghhh (so is I Rice too)
Anyway decent fair at AIHH had the EB1 for 160 baht.
As you say there are a few others street cafes around there and the cafe opposite(Chanchala?) does 2 eggs on toast and coffee for 70baht so I will try that too, as most of the time that's enough for me.
Not a bad little ambience down there but spoiled when the traffic builds up and those dickheads start beeping horns for no reason!
Grabbed the songthaew back as my gout has returned today(off topic but will be looking for that thread next!)
Thanks for the tips, will go to I Rice next.

Re: Locations that serve a "good" Amercian / English breakfast.
My mate & I often fancy a FEB after a hard cycle-ride, but actually getting what you want can be hard work at many r/rants in town..
*Bottomless cup coffee deal with certain breakfast sets..When the bill comes, yep they've charged you for that extra cup (this happened twice within a week at one venue despite pulling the manager up over it).
Ordering your breaky, but substituting your portion of fried bread for a slice of toast instead..Then getting charged for the toast..(any amount of explanation, put as simply as poss does not get the waitress to see our case).
No brown sauce! (WHAT?) Then one r/rant gave us a piddly little dish of ketchup for our meal (You tight sods, ketchup here is p*** cheap)
Our 1st venue (on 88) this morning were charging 100b for 2 fried eggs & 2 strips of bacon! (the usual sized breaky was 170..ouch)
The (IMO) best breaky deal is up the top end of 88..but the owner has 2 big screen TVs with BBC/SKY news blaring at you every morning..Sorry, but don't need that.
So the 2 of us are still in search of FEB satisfaction..5-5.

Usual suspect, have you tried Euro Deli and sausage house soi 102? Honestly, cannot fault their food at all and I've been going 4 or 5 times a week for months on end . Family run, service fun, great breakfast and specials menu, I never need to go anywhere else for brekkie or sandwiches... Will try post some pics if I have any
Ps they are on Facebook with location etc

Pity it's not down by railway as I go for Physio close to there often and could do together. I might take a moto taxi up there and check it out, thanksPBbeacher wrote:Usual suspect, have you tried Euro Deli and sausage house soi 102? Do those bars close to railway do the full brekkys? Bobby's /Squealing Pig?
Thanks

Yes Bobbie's does a really good breakfast (or did, haven't had one for years).
Squealing Pig became the Sage guesthouse, but opened up next door but one as Squealing Piglet (? I think), sure he will do a decent brek also.

I have just been to Euro Deli and Sausage, which is off to the side of 102, but I'd guess 2.5 km west( and a bit south) from railway line. Pretty remote, for me anyway!
I had the 'small' English breakfast. God knows what a big one is like, as mine was plenty! See pics
Really good quality, probably the best I've had here in truth.
Price is 129 incl tea/coffee which all considered is probably unbeatable. Would be 200+ in many other places but I suppose location is reflected in price.
Not only can you eat there but as the name suggests its a food shop too. Nice enough fit out.
Great place, I will be returning but its just well out of the way for me as I live in City. But if you have a motorbike it's no problem.
If anyone knows the German guy who runs this please can they ask him to open one in the City!

Looking at the photos, I think I'll stand by Joe's Bar, which still takes it for me.

Fair enough, but I've done both in last 3 days and food wise the Euro edged it for me. Beans better, sausage(absolutely no comparison!) , toast better than Joe's and the Tea wasnt even a fair fight, chalk and cheese!Big Boy wrote:Looking at the photos, I think I'll stand by Joe's Bar, which still takes it for me.
Much preferred Joe's location and set up though.... Each to his own!

I agree 100% What I like, isn't necessarily what somebody else will like, and vice-versa. The thing that put me off in your photo was the bacon - my preference is lean and thick (before that appears on the 'You've taken that completely out of context !' thread, I'm talking about the bacon

Again it's fair comment, and very eagle eyed of you. Because actually I can honestly say the bacon was the only item that was inferior to Joe's. Every other item(food & drink)at Euro was superior in my honest opinion.Big Boy wrote:I agree 100% What I like, isn't necessarily what somebody else will like, and vice-versa. Service at both places was friendly and quick (Joe's mega quick!)
Anyway the real point is I want this sort of quality up here by Baan Klang/Tira Tirra!!
All in Hua Hin was not in Joes/euro league in my book. All based on one visit only I might add in fairness.
Need to try I Rice, need to try them all!

Re: Locations that serve a "good" Amercian / English breakfast.
The Euro Deli sell some nice things, but their bacon was for me, truly awful. Streaky, from Chiang Mai, it shrivelled up into nothing and tasted the same. That looks like what is on the plate? I'm allergic to egg, so more interested in the other ingredients, and the mushrooms aren't 'British style' as I would expect and is a tiny portion, as is half a tomato! So even though I go past their place often, I probably wouldn't stop for brekky. Their filled baguettes look nice though.
Talk is cheap
