Obviously harmless according to the photo...

my experience with cobras here (in the wild) is that you can't get near them even if you tried. I would be much more worried about the vipers, especially the Malayan Pit Viper that camouflages itself and sits quietly until you get too close, then it's too late.
They are very, very, common here, very poisonous, and according to a statistic I read are responsible for more bites than any venomous animal in South Asia.
