I'm currently investigating Blue Cross because they usually do provide pretty good coverage. If your plan covers the US...it would be relatively expensive....No matter what company issued it. I don't need US coverage...and I'm quite prepared to retain a fairly high deductible.. Many of the plans I'v...

I have similar insurance from Canada....the problem is that it will only extend for a period of six months if I live out of the country permanently. I can get around this by returning twice a year and maintaining a residence there....but all that costs much more than the insurance! I believe many of...

Yea.....billions don't really cut it any more....you have to talk in Trillions now...I suspect this is because many people can actually comprehend what a billion is...or maybe relate to it in some way....but a Trillion??? I love the "Cash for Clunkers" program. On top of massive national a...

Corruption is alive and well in the most highly developed countries as well as in Thailand. The really big difference is that in Thailand everyone from a lowly police constable or PO clerk can participate whereas back "home" you are expected to have a Harvard MBA or at least a securities l...

I'm fairly new to Huahin....been living here since Nov 2008. I am not a golfer and don't eat out that often any more. I do buy the best food I can find and we cook it at home. I buy a few bottles of liquor every month and I have a beer or two most days. I decided not to bother buying a car because t...

There is a drug store just past Market Village on LH side that stocks it. Did not need a new prescription...just showed them the b...
